The third edition of the ECMWF–ESA Workshop on Machine Learning for Earth Observation and Prediction held at the ECMWF headquarters in Reading (UK) from 14 to 17 November 2022 provided an up-to-date snapshot of the state-of-the-art in this rapidly evolving field, facilitating discussion among scientists and practitioners about the current opportunities and challenges in the use of ML/DL technologies for Earth System Observation and Prediction.
The preliminary steps and approaches regarding ML applications to ground deformation InSAR data in the framework of the SARAI project were presented in the poster “Preliminary steps on AI-based active deformation processes classification and time series forecasting” by Héctor Aguilera, one of the members of our research crew.
