On October 01, the geologist Jhonatan Rivera Rivera joined Project SARAI as a pre-doctoral researcher. Jhonatan has a degree in Geology from the Industrial University of Santander “UIS” (2016). He has two master’s degrees: in Planning and Management of Natural Risks from the University of Alicante “UA” (2019) and Seismic Risk Analysis through Geospatial Technologies

Distribution of recorded piezometers and sampling points

Tool to obtain time series of piezometry and  precipitation from  1950 to 2020 (respectively and directly from MITECO and AEMET) for any point in Spain in the  Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands

From the SARAI project  we have https://sarai.igme.es developed a tool in Jupyter Notebook format that allows reading data directly from the websites of the AEMET and the General Directorate of Water, extracting for a list of coordinates the rainfall and piezometry series at a distance of 5 km or less for each of the points
