In the case of specific queries, the result can be established as that of the measurements of the AEMET node closest to the established coordinates, or interpolated between all AEMET nodes within a circular area, weighing each of them by the inverse of the distance to the point of interest (inverse distance weighted (IDW) interpolation), whose radius (in meters) is chosen by the user around the given coordinate point.

The final result will be, if there are AEMET nodes in the established area, a compressed file in .ZIP format that will contain up to three files:

A text file in CSV format with the AEMET data nodes, identified by a unique numerical value (ID), taken into account to establish the history of measurements provided. Each measurement is identified by the node ID and date.

Only in the case of requesting specific coordinates (closest node or interpolated measurement), a plot is included that represents the time series of the measurements in the requested period.
